You've got your BAD BOY installed and are connected. You take your laptop out to the cockpit, picnic table or back porch dragging a cable along. You wish that you could cut that tether, that umbilical cord, that ball and chain. You want to be... Unleashed!
Bitstorm's BAD BOY Unleashed is ideally suited for Wi-Fi where cabling to computers is undesireable or just not possible. It uses the connection from BAD BOY Xtreme or Express and rebroadcasts the signal forming your own private hotspot. Connects multiple computers wirelessly and simultaneously.
The Unleashed HP is capable of providing a large hotspot by allowing adjustable output power up to 36dBm (4W) EIRP - that's 10x more powerful than our standard Unleashed. When suitably mounted, this can provide a range of 1 to 2 miles (~1.5 - 3 km). So now you can turn down the power while close by and supersize when needed.
NOTE: BAD BOY Unleashed andUnleashed HP do not work as a stand alone device and requires a BAD BOY Xtreme or Express. For stand alone operation, we recommend our BAD BOY Zone.
Features:
Unleashed now provides a new higher power 26dBm (400mW EIRP) private hotspot for your immediate area
Unleashed HP provides a variable sizable hotspot from 16dBm (40mW EIRP) to 36dBm (4000mW EIRP) private hotspot
Connects multiple computers wirelessly at the same time
Extended warranty coverage available for up to 3 years
